What is Counterfeit in our Culture? (Second list)

February 20, 2013

I want to follow up yesterday’s post with the some additional counterfeit aspects of our society.  Again, I am just calling out the fakes that surround us and over time I will fill my blog with specific examples that make the case that will illustrate the sham. This post is the second that is documenting the list.

Media – I will start with the fake news.  What is presented to the American public nightly on all the traditional networks and cable networks is pure propaganda.   The content is all approved by the “state” and the most important issues of our day are not even acknowledged let alone discussed.  When someone attempts to broach a topic not on the approved list we see the standard Saul Alinsky tactic to marginalize the speaker.  The most common labels are racist and conspiracy theorist. (Luk 20:46) Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

Food – Food is an important thing to most people. My Nona used to say “you are what you eat”.  If Nona was correct, Bless her Soul, than Americans are genetically modified organisms, filled with processed fillers and mind altering drugs to make the stuff that looks like food, taste like food. (Gen 1:29) And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.  Pink Slime anyone?

Healthcare –  The healthcare system is a complete fraud. Worse than inefficient and wasteful, our sick care system is a highly efficient wealth extracting machine that will ensure you have cancer, diabetes, or one of many diseases that destroy our mind’s cognitive function.    Cancer, Autism, diabetes, in both youth and adult populations, are exploding.  Could the food be a contributor? Ask your doctor and I am sure he has an expensive prescription for whatever ails you.
